London Attractions
London is the capital of England and the largest metropolis in the European Union. The city combines the tradition and the technology present and future. On the one hand London is famous for its typical architecture from the 18th and 19th centuries, on the other hand in the very center there are modern buildings from high-tech class. Here is where you can hear almost all modern languages and where you can meet people from all races and nationalities.
Each of us has heard of Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and many of the traditional symbols of the city. Today the London Eye has also become iconinc. It is 137 meters high wheel.
Other interesting attractions are the River Thames, which flows throughout the central part of the city, the museum with wax figures of Madame Tussaud's, the largest shopping street, Oxford street, red double decker bus and red telephone booths.
